God Loves You and Allows ‘U’ Turns in One’s Life

We are Separated from God by Sin
- What is sin and its consequences ?
- Sin is any action, thought, or attitude that goes against God’s law and His standards described in Scripture.
- As it is written, “There is none
righteous, no, not one.” –Romans 3:10
- For all have sinned
and fall short of the glory of God. –Romans 3:23
- But we are all like an unclean thing, And all our righteousness are like filthy rags
; We all fade as a leaf, And our iniquities, like the wind, Have taken us away. –Isaiah 64:6
- God Provided His Son
to Pay
for Our Sins But God demonstrates His own love
toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died
for us. –Romans 5:8
- Those Who Trust in Jesus by Faith will be Saved … if you confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead
, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. –Romans 10:9-10
- For by grace you have been saved through faith
, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift
of God, not of works
, lest anyone should boast. –Ephesians 2:8-9
The Sinner’s Prayer
Knowing that I have sinned, and that I need the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, I now repent of my sins and trust Him to pardon and deliver me from sin’s guilt and power. I give Him control of my life. As He gives me strength, I shall seek to be a responsible growing member in His family. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. –John 1:12
